Winter at the Wildwood Inn

Winter is a time of rest and reflection at the Wildwood Inn.  Plans are underway for our spring garden planting both for vegetables and flowers--tomato and pepper seeds are ready for planting indoors, capturing the sun from our south-facing windows.  We are experimenting with some new recipes for breads and other breakfast treats as well as dishes using fresh garden vegetables for those taking lunches and dinners with us.  The llamas have once again grown their heavy winter coats that insulate them from frigid winter temperatures.  Before we know it, shearing season will be upon us.   Winter is the time for spinning--we are beginning to accumulate some beautiful yarns from Bella's rich brown fiber.  Check this blog in a few weeks for winter landscape and fiber pictures.

Think about your next trip or vacation and book with us now (740-380-3403).  We look forward to seeing you in 2011 and Happy New Year!
